Throughout 2024, Holgate has been celebrating a remarkable feat for an independent Aussie brewery: 25 years of brewing.
To do their bit to mark the occasion, on November 16 the Saccharomyces Beer Café will be hosting the Holgate team and showcasing some of the fine work that’s made them so beloved over so many years. Although, it’s not just ‘some’ because – for the first time ever – all 17 of the Sacch’s taps will be dedicated to a single brewery. They’ll have longstanding Holgate classics, brand new brews, and everything in between. In other words: it’ll be epic.
The brewery’s main man himself, Paul Holgate, will be in town to get the party started from early afternoon and host a very special event at 5pm: the Holgate Pop Culture Pop Quiz. It’ll feature 25 questions to test your pop culture knowledge of the past 25 years and, in return for your expertise, you can win sweet, sweet merch and Holgate beer. And if you can’t beat the quiz, you can always try beating Paul on the pinball machine afterwards!
Doors will be open from midday so swing by anytime and be ready to party like it’s 1999.
