The leading ladies of the Australian beer industry are gathering once again as the Victorian chapter of the Pink Boots Society joins forces for a Father's Day brew.
Two Birds' Nest in Spotswood will be the host for the day as women from all across the beer spectrum – those who make, sell, pour, talk about or just love it intensely – get together to create a new limited edition beer. This time around it will be a Springtime Cherry Saison using fresh cherry juice from Cherry Hill Orchards.
If you're interested in joining the society, you're welcome to join the brewing team for the brew day (mash-in is at 9am) but if you'd rather take a more hands-off approach and just watch the action unfold, the brewery opens at midday.
It's all happening on Sunday 6 September which is, slightly ironically, Father's Day. Far from being exclusive, the ladies would love anyone and everyone to come along and lend their support.
