Fermentis by Lesaffre is an expert in fermentation, working across beer, wine, spirits, and other fermented beverages.

The global operation is looking to take on a new sales manager to service the Australian and NZ markets. The role is based in Sydney.

Its mission? Become the obvious choice for brewers, spirit producers, winemakers and all producers of fermented beverages, helping them express their inventiveness and creativity.

Job tasks and responsibilities

You will play a lead role in developing sales in Australia and New Zealand.  Together with our distribution network you will manage commercial activity and trials with customers.

You will interact with your international colleagues regularly to ensure commercial, technical and marketing support is provided to the market.

Skills and experience

A minimum of five years' experience preferentially in the brewing, distilling or wine industry (or a combination!) is required so that you have the industry credibility and networks.  A capacity to manage multiple projects whilst preparing and delivering presentations means you are highly organised.  A creative mindset will enable you to develop innovative solutions for new beverage types, production processes, etc. 

Strong academic credentials are essential. A relevant science-based degree is required. A bachelor's degree combined with further studies to Masters or IBD qualifications in brewing and related disciplines would be highly regarded.
