Job Description: Packaging Operators

We currently have 4 full-time fixed term positions available within our Operations Team  - August 2024 to end March 2025.

On a 24/5 rotating roster operating  (Monday to Saturday) Full time operators work 3 x 12 hour shifts per week 6am-6pm or 6pm-6am with FOUR DAYS OFF! This is a fixed term contract until the end of March 2025, it is important applicants are fully available during our peak period from November to January, including public holidays. $30ph + loadings.

As a Brick Lane Packaging Operative you will be a strong team player, good communicator with an excellent attention to detail.

Tasks & responsibilities:

  • Operating a Fork Lift Truck to move goods around the brewery
  • Operating product-packaging equipment, from basic start up and set up through to closure at end of operation
  • Ensuring equipment runs properly according to company guidelines
  • Delivering high standards of quality and safety at all times
  • Perform routine cleaning and preventative maintenance activities
  • Conduct product line quality control inspections
  • Collect samples and complete data collection and recording
  • Other brewery or packaging line related tasks

You will have:

  • Absolute dedication to safety
  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and problem solving/trouble shooting skills
  • Good communications skills
  • Forklift licence (essential)
  • Previous experience in packaging, beverage or FMCG manufacturing and preferably in a brewing production environment would be favourable but not essential

This role is physically active and may require moving heavy loads, bending and stretching.
