For the past few years, the team at Archive has run a rather large event called Armakeggon. It's essentially a mini extreme beer festival where they load up their taps with a ridiculous amount of crazy and crazily good beers that, were Armageddon to happen, would make the West End a fine place to spend your final day on earth.
Impending doom or not, Armakeggon 2016 is upon us and the organisers have promised more of the same as previous years, but better. Not only will the day feature 40 unique beers but there'll be a sideshow element too: think brewery stalls with carnival games, masterclasses and live music.
In past years the tap list has been gradually revealed in the lead-up on their Facebook page, so best keep an eye on that.
With discounted pre-sales having ended on August 5, entry will be $20 on the door. Doors open at 10am.
