It's been a big year for the body formerly known as the Craft Beer Industry Association. Now renamed the Independent Brewers Association (IBA), its members recently voted to remove brewing companies owned by the major brewers from its membership to focus on the needs of the country's small, independent brewers.
It should make this year's Australian Craft Brewers Conference (ACBC) a particularly interesting one in a year that's proving to be the most unpredictable for the craft beer industry to date.
The ACBC takes place in Adelaide from July 25 to 27, 2017, and is followed by the Craft Beer Awards at the Adelaide Oval on the evening of July 27.
