Job Description: Technical Brewer & Brewery Technicians
The Australian Beer Company (ABCo) was established in Yenda, NSW, in 2014. ABCo’s 30m. litre capacity brewery is based on a state-of-the-art Krones brew-house and KHS bottling line. A range of award-winning, branded small-batch/craft and high-volume contract brews are produced, marketed and distributed; these include international brands and labels for Australia’s leading retailers. ABCo’s distribution partner is Coca Cola Amatil, Australia.
To meet volume growth, ABCo is seeking a Technical Brewer to join this established, dynamic production team as soon as possible. Initially this may be a contract role but for the right applicant, a permanent appointment with excellent promotional prospects will be offered.
To be considered for the Technical Brewer role, you will require an IBD Diploma in Brewing (or an equivalent relevant science, microbiology or engineering degree) and an absolute minimum of three years’ hands-on, professional brewing experience. Mid-or senior-level brewery management and leadership experience would be an advantage and remunerated accordingly. You will need to already have the right to work in Australia.
ABCo also has also current vacancies for Brewery Technicians. These roles require hands-on individuals, preferably with previous modern brewery experience, who can reliably implement a range of quality-driven production SOPs. The successful applicants will be required to work rotating shifts and ensure all Brewing operations are conducted in a safe and efficient manner to produce high quality product in accordance with specifications.
