Job Description: Partnerships & Events Manager

Pirate Life Brewing was founded in 2014 on a five-day journey across the Nullarbor Plain. We landed in Adelaide, established a brewery and spent the next seven years building a brand.  

In that time we’ve gone from a three-man operation to a crew of more than one-hundred, built three venues across the country, and cemented ourselves as one of Australia’s most recognisable craft breweries.  

Maybe it’s our ongoing obsession with quality that got us here, maybe it’s our love for great beer and good people, either way, we feel like we’re just scratching the surface. The best is yet to come for Pirate Life.  

Pirate Life is seeking a Partnerships and Event Manager to join our Adelaide team. If you are passionate about craft beer and have a background in negotiating and activating sponsorships/partnerships we would love to hear from you.  

We are looking for someone who is commercially minded but thinks outside of the box.  Flexible, with a positive attitude, you will be committed to finding meaningful ways for  Pirate Life to connect with our audience nationally through partnerships, sponsorships and events. 

We have a creative, fun marketing team of 11, so while you need to be self-motivated, it is important that you love being part of a team. 

Role: 

  • Work with the Head of Marketing to develop the National Partnership and Sponsorship strategy. 
  • Identify and evaluate new partnership and sponsorship opportunities.
  • Evaluate and negotiate partnership and sponsorship agreements. 
  • Design and deliver branded activations nationally. 
  • Scoping, design, and delivery of events. 

Relevant experience: 

  • Evaluating, negotiating and activating contractual sponsorships/ partnerships 
  • Project and event management 
  • Liquor experience preferable but not essential
