Wagga Wagga's Thirsty Crow have a long history providing great beer in a welcoming venue but change is afoot.
Founder Craig Wealands is switching to a new role in the business which means they're hiring their first new head brewer.

What’s the go
For the first time in our history, the position of Head Brewer at our brewpub is available. Craig our original brewer will be shifting into a new role outside of the brewery and we are looking for a eudaimonia-seeking, experienced brewer to take the reins.
We are after someone who has had at least three years’ experience in a Head or Senior Brewer role working in a high-volume production brewery environment.
Responsibilities of the role
- Manage all brewery operations including procurement, wort production, cellaring, quality control, packaging and brewery maintenance.
- Be the conduit of education and opportunities to the Bar & Kitchen teams
- Help strengthen our customer base by working with our Marketing team
- Have fun doing it
What we would like to see
- Proven leadership qualities
- Technical brewery knowledge and ability
- Excellent communication skills
- Highly organized with a keen attention to detail
- A strong work ethic and desire to succeed and grow
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems
- Excellent time management skills
- Driver’s licence and forklift Licence.
- Would be handy if you’re a quality left-arm fast bowler for our brewpub cricket team, if not – just – being a great human will do!
