Hobart Brewing Co have been a fixture in the Tasmanian beer scene since 2014, brewing highly-regarded beers and hosting events aplenty at their home near the city's waterfront.
They're looking to hire someone to assist with warehousing operations – a traineeship role that could lead to a job in brewing.
JOB DESCRIPTION: Supply Chain Operations Traineeship
Work & Training in conjunction with our valued host business, Hobart Brewing Co, have an exciting opportunity to become part of their team.
The successful candidate will work closely with the brewers and sales staff to assist in warehousing operations of the business while working towards gaining a Nationally Recognised qualification in Certificate III in Supply Chain Operations. For the right candidate this opportunity may lead to a career pathway in the Brewing Industry
Duties include:
- Assist in cool room operations
- Stock control, storage and distribution
- Ensuring hygiene practices are followed and assist in cleaning of equipment
- Learning brewery processes and production requirements
- Assisting staff and management as required
Desired attributes:
- Good communication skills - verbal, written and electronic
- Ability to follow direction and follow procedures
- Physically fit and be able to work in a fast paced environment
- Sound understanding of WHS principles
- Forklift licence or the ability to undertake training
Essential requirement:
- Current Driver's Licence
