Brisbane Brewing Are Hiring A Brewer / Distiller

Brisbane Brewing Co have been brewing in the city's West End since Christmas 2014 and have opened a distillery at their other home in Woolloongabba.

If you're an experienced brewer or distiller, they're hiring.

We're seeking an experienced brewer and distiller to work alongside our Head Brewer.

About You:

As the successful applicant, you will work at both of Brisbane Brewing Co.’s West End and Woolloongabba properties.
You have a minimum one year commercial brewing experience. Formal Brewing/Distilling qualifications are highly advantageous
You have a full Driver’s Licence
You have experience in distilling and/or brewing.
You are physically fit and are capable of carrying and lifting sometimes heavy items.
You are motivated by the prospect of working in a family-run business alongside colleagues who are passionate about making and serving our own range of craft beers and spirits.
You understand that the brewery is very well established, the distillery is still very much in its infancy, and there are plans afoot for an exciting expansion phase.

About the Brewery:

West End (QLD) based brewery
Established 16 year old family-owned business
12HL system, 2-3 x 12HL brews/week
Primary business - Retail brewery supplying draft beer to 2 busy venues (Brisbane Brewing Co in West End and Brewhouse Brisbane in Woolloongabba). Kegs are also sold to selected local Brisbane Craft Beer venues on an ongoing basis.
Secondary business – Canning of our IPA commenced in late 2021. A further 3 beers will also be canned in the forthcoming few months.
Producing a variety of staple beers as well as numerous small batch brews, specialty and seasonal beers, collaboration brews and an exciting barrel-aging program
Annual participation in GABS, AIBAs, Royal Qld Beer Awards and other craft beer events
