Job Description: Head Brewer
Brightstar Brewing is located 5 minutes from Adelaide’s CBD. A European-inspired brewery and taphouse, we have developed a reputation for producing traditional styles like - Helles, Czech Pils, Berliner Weisse and ESB to name a few.
We are recruiting a Head Brewer who will be responsible for brewing operations including recipe creation, inventory management, equipment maintenance and upskilling of co-workers.
This is a full-time permanent position. To be considered for the role, you will need the following qualifications and experience:
- Brewing related qualifications or relevant tertiary experience
- A minimum of 8 years’ experience working as a brewer including the procurement of raw materials for the brewing process.
- Current Forklift license
- Current Australian driver's license.

- Leadership skills, including the ability to motivate staff.
- High - level brewing skills underpinned by a passion for beer making and developing new beers.
- Personable and able to communicate well.
- Mechanical knowledge and familiarity with brewing components.
- Innovative, creative and motivated to further develop new and delicious Euro style beers.
- Quality assurance skills and drive for continual improvement.
- Flexible and adaptable to working in a small team, in a fast - paced environment
