Mash Brewing turned ten this year, and marked it with a whole new look, as well as delivering the very first Mash cans. Now, someone has the chance to join the next phase of the WA brewery's evolution as part of the brewing team, starting in early January.
JOB DESCRIPTION: BREWER - WA
We’ve have a vacancy coming up for a full time brewing role at our brewery based in Perth’s Swan Valley commencing in early to mid January.
Commercial brewing experience would be highly advantageous but not essential. Experience in food grade production or packaging facilities would also be looked upon favourably.
Desirable criteria are as follows:
- very strong work ethic
- pride in yourself and our products
- team player
- proven ability to work successfully unsupervised and under pressure
- ability to work in often very hot conditions requiring considerable manual handling
- strong problem solving skills
You will be required to be, or be trained in, all facets of brewery production and packaging, including, but not limited to:
- Milling for brew days
- Fermenter and Bright Beer tank cip
- Monitoring ferments daily
- Filtration
- Brewhouse record keeping
- Brewery house keeping
- Working on the packaging lines, packing cartons, labelling product and eventually filler operation
We are one of the more successful Western Australian and Australian craft breweries and have enjoyed quite a bit of success over the last few years, but we are always driving for batch consistency of the highest quality.
We are also experiencing considerable growth at the moment.
