With a new range of cans, new branding, and a custom built facility at their disposal, Dainton Family Brewery is set for a big 2017. They're after a new brewer to help take things to the next level, so if you've got the chops to brew Insane Uncle, then this one is for you.
JOB DESCRIPTION: BREWER - MELBOURNE
Dainton Family Brewery needs a new brewer who can keep up with a busy brewing schedule, and isn't afraid of a bit of hard work.
Skills and Responsibilities:
- Can do attitude
- Excellent standards of hygiene and cleaning
- Proven technical prowess
- Brew and package beer
- Develop new recipes and improve the classics (core range)
- Ability to problem solve, work alone in the dark and do hard sums
- Be organised
- Keep the brewery running in a physical and metaphysical capacity
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- Be strong and uber fit
- Handle logistics, packing of beers ready for freight to distributors
- Technical skills are a must - if you can weld and fix broken stuff that is very appealing
- Flexibility around shifts, with a requirement for occasional weekend work/shift
- Must have minimum 3+ years commercial brewing experience with applicable references
- Current forklift licence (desirable)
- Ideally will have an education in brewing
