The Crafty Pint is funded, in part, by industry partners eager to support our independent journalism. They include Bintani, Presenting Partner for the Sustainability category within our Beer Knowledge resource.

Bintani was founded by Pete Meddings in the mid-90s, initially supplying yeast to the local industry, before expanding into a multifaceted supplier of ingredients and brewing aids in partnership with local and international businesses.

Many members of the Meddings family followed Pete – who you can read about in this feature we published on his retirement in 2020 – into the business, which is a longstanding supporter of the beer industry. The Crafty Pint first experienced this support when working alongside Dale and Phil Meddings as part of a tiny group getting Good Beer Week off the ground, and that generosity has continued, including Bintani's sponsorship of the Pint of Origin festival beer in 2023.
