When breweries and beer venues across Australia started reopening as COVID-19 restrictions eased, the Keeping Local Alive database we launched in March to tell people how businesses were adapting in lockdown became less relevant in much of the country.
At the same time, we realised one of the best ways we could help beer lovers #keepinglocalalive into the future was to ensure The Crafty Pint app was as comprehensive as possible. After all, if you want to support local beer businesses wherever you are in Australia, being able to find local breweries and venues via a free, map-based app on your phone makes things rather easier.
We've spent the past few weeks adding more and currently have hundreds of breweries, pubs, bars and bottleshops listed. But we're aware there will be some we don't know of given the size of the country and the fast-changing nature of the industry even before COVID-19 shook things up.
As such, we'd love your help filling the gaps and making sure it's as accurate and up to date as possible.
You can use the form below to send us details of any businesses that are missing. If there are any in the app that have closed or changed the nature of their operation, you can let us know via email: firstname.lastname@example.org.
Thanks in advance!
The app is free to download from the App Store and Google Play:
Submit Details Here
NB Submitting business details doesn't guarantee it will appear in the app. We will first check to make sure it is suitable, eg for venues / retailers this would mean stocking a sizeable range of Australian craft beer.
And, as with The Crafty Pint directory, where breweries are part of multinational operations, their parent company is indicated.
