KAIJU! Founder Becomes New Independent Brewers Association Chair

Callum Reeves (pictured above left with brother Nat), one of the founders of newly-crowned AIBA Champion Medium Australian Brewery, KAIJU!, has been named chair of the Independent Brewers Association (IBA).

Evin Craney, of Bright Brewery, is the new deputy chair. He takes up the post less than a year after winning the Young Gun award at the 2023 Indies.

Callum brings a wealth of experience and passion for the industry. His innovative approach and dedication to quality are paramount, as evidenced by his recent success at the AIBA’s as our newly crowned Champion Medium Brewery!

Callum said: "Having been on the Board for the past couple of years and seeing the huge amount of work and leadership undertaken by the IBA, lead me to stepping up as the Chair.

I know how crucial it is for the Board and executive to communicate well to our members, to hit our strategic goals, to keep promoting and growing the indie brewing community. I'm honoured to take on this role and work with our extremely talented Board and Team”.

Evin (Ev) Craney from Bright Brewery has been appointed as the new Deputy Chair. Evin's commitment to excellence and community engagement has significantly contributed to the success of Bright Brewery.
