Black Hops Appoint Nick Boots As CEO

Black Hops have names Nick Boots, former general manager of Kegstar and Stone & Wood, as their new CEO.

He joins the Gold Coast-based operation after they exited a period of voluntary administration under new owners: a consortium that includes a number of existing investors.

Black Hops have announced Nick Boots as their new CEO, marking a huge step forward for the iconic Gold Coast brand.

Luke McCormack, General Manager of Transition and a co-owner of the newly formed Black Hops Craft Pty Ltd expressed excitement at the appointment of Boots.

“One of our highest priorities in taking ownership of Black Hops was searching for an experienced leader to guide the business forward.  Clearly Nick has a track record of results in the industry, and we’re thrilled to have him on board.”

Boots, an industry veteran who has most recently held General Manager roles at Kegstar (Brambles Ltd) and Stone & Wood (Fermentum Group) sees a bright future for the Gold Coast brewer now its future has been secured.
