Champion brewers from the 2023 Indies awards have joined forces to create a beer showcasing their combined talents ahead of this year's awards in Perth.
The second Best In Show beer was designed by representatives of the various state brewing champions and brewed at the home of Champion Victorian Brewery Brick Lane, who also picked up the Champion Large Brewery title in 2023.
The hoppy, hazy wheat is available from the participating breweries and online from early July and follows last year's debut Best In Show beer, a hazy IPA brewed at Moon Dog, which we selected as one of Victoria's standout beers of the year in our 2023 wrap.

Media Release: IBA saddles up to launch their "Best in Show" collaboration beer
The Independent Brewers Association (IBA), a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to promoting Australian-owned, independent breweries, is thrilled to announce the launch of "Best in Show, a collaboration beer.
Brewed by all our state and territory champion winners from the 2023 Indies Awards – all legends in their own right. Our thanks and congratulations go to: Brick Lane Brewing (VIC), Moffat Beach Brewing (QLD), Wheaty Brewing Corp (SA), Moo Brew (TAS), Philter Brewing (NSW), BentSpoke Brewing (ACT) and Black Brewing Co (WA).
This unique ‘Hoppy Hazy Wheat’ was brewed at Brick Lane Brewery, also Australian Champion Large Brewery in 2023.
The deliciousness of "Best in Show" will debut nationally on Friday, July 5, and will be available from the participating breweries and online.
"Best in Show" is a fresh, fruity, hazy beer, symbolising the pinnacle of Australian independent brewing. A recipe designed to excite the beer fan and be a fun first step for those new to a more flavoursome craft option.
This launch not only showcases the collective expertise of the best breweries in Australia but also marks the lead-up to the 2024 Independent Beer Awards ceremony which are being held in Perth on Friday the 2nd of August.
