Many years before Bandolier Brewing was even an idea, a young Zander Thompson headed to Europe to visit his sister. It was there that the future brewery owner feel in love for the breadth and beauty that beer offered to drinkers and among those he fell for was classic wheat beers.
Bandolier’s White Ale is a tribute to those times and European brewing traditions and it’s the kind of beer we don’t see much of in the modern craft beer industry. Made with a blend of malted and unmalted wheat, freshly-ground coriander seed and orange zest, the beer is huge aroma of botanicals and whole lot of zest on the palate with soft and quite textural mouthfeel and a dry finish.
