Western Port Bay may be famed for the ever-popular Phillip Island and the slightly-more-closed-off French Island, but on a sunny afternoon, you can catch the last rays of the day bouncing off the water and hitting Gippsland.

It's the kind of sunset that resembles Smiley Brewing's Westernport Pacific Ale, with its glisteningly golden and softly cloudy appearance. That softness continues on the palate, while hop notes of passionfruit and nectarine leap out of the glass and dominate the beer's flavour.
