They're not the sort of beers with which you'd instantly associated Hawkers, yet they're quietly amassing quite the collection of fruit cream sours. And with Around The Orchard We Roam, they're adding a peaches and cream-inspired addition to the lineup.
It's a fine liquid rendition too, one in which it's far easier to pick out the various components than it is to read the label. Indeed, it delivers everything – peaches, cream and sour – in spades, with the peaches and lactose hitting first on the aroma and the acidity from the kettle souring adding well-judged balance to the sweetness. Yum.
