In an overhyped world the word "bonanza" gets thrown around a fair bit, often with disappointing results. Not so at The Local Taphouse as they prepare to host the kind of event in which fans of Belgian beers can truly revel.
On Saturday, November 11, they're pouring more than 30 different Belgian beers – a mix of draught and bottles and in all manner of styles; half a dozen from Cantillon here, three vintages of Rodenbach there, a rarity over yonder – not your usual Saturday lineup, for sure.

To make it more accessible and help you try as many as possible without having to stump up for a full bottle, the packaged beers will be available in smaller 90ml pours or 310ml glasses. Stock is necessarily limited though, so you'll want to be in quick to try some of the rarer stuff.
The kitchen will be coming to the party with a menu of classic Belgian dishes, plus there'll be a chance to win a Magnum of Duvel.
Doors open at midday and entry is via a gold coin donation which goes to charity.
