The Almighty Imperial IPA is Bad Shepherd's annual release that dials both the alcohol and hops up to a level designed to leave the drinker struck by a sensory overload.
This year, to celebrate the launch of the beer the Cheltenham brewpub will be holding its largest celebration yet.
That means there's a lot happening on the day, including:
- Almighty Presale: The Almighty Double IPA presale kicks off at 1.30pm. Say the code word to staff (keep an eye on social media for that one) to receive an additional 25 percent off cans and four-packs.
- Almighty Feats of Strength: Watch the Strongman team from Iron Revolution perform feats of strength.
- Almighty Burger: A burger that includes four beef patties, quadruple cheese, mac 'n' cheese croquettes, beer battered onion rings served with lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles and relish on a soft milk bun. That’s 1.5 pounds of meat (and a lot of carbs).
- Almighty chances to win: Every hour from 3pm to 6pm, five people will win an Almighty t-shirt valued at $30. For your chance to enter the draw, simply buy any glass or can of Almighty Imperial IPA.
