With the days getting longer, what are you planning to do with all those extra light hours?
If you’re in northwest Sydney you can arrange to while away the time at the Australian Brewery as they launch a series of twilight brewery tours.
Beginning on September 27 and running every Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 6pm, head to the bar and join one of the brewers on a guided tour of the facilities.
You’ll get a potted history of a brewery that’s gone from being the first small indie brewer in Australia to can its beer to one that’s just doubled in size, exports all over the world and picks up truckloads of medals at home and abroad.
Naturally, you’ll learn about how said beer is made while touching, smelling and tasting the ingredients and, of course, you’ll get given a range of beers to sate your thirst, led by their latest seasonal releases.
Tickets for the tour cost $25 and you can make a booking by contacting the good folk out at Rouse Hill here. You can also supersize your experience by adding a meal which they’ll pair to the beer.
