Australia's first female-owned brewery is celebrating International Women's Day (IWD) with a masterclass, fundraiser and beer launch(es) all rolled into one.
From 4pm, Two Birds co-owner and brewer Jayne Lewis is running an intimate masterclass guiding drinkers through a sensory exploration of brewing, beer styles at the freshly reopened Two Birds Nest.
Attendees will be the very first people to try the Two Birds International Women's Day beer release, Warrior Woman, an IPA hopped with Warrior and Topaz.
The masterclass will be followed by a night of celebration and fundraising for Pink Boots Society Australia, featuring the launch of both Warrior Woman and an IWD collaboration with Thirsty Crow Brewery: a Strawberry & Rhubarb Sour.
Tickets to the masterclass cost $25pp, with free entry to the rest of the evening.
