Great things happen when you bring together interesting foods and quirky beers.
On Wednesday, September 25, The Woodlands is hosting Wild Provisions, a pop-up dinner by chef Caitlin Koether.
In her Wild Provisions series, Caitlin explores old world methods of preservation, including fermentation, solar drying, salting and sugaring. Historically, these techniques were used to maintain provisions in times of food scarcity. Nowadays, we have the benefit of using them to explore the subtle nuances and deep flavours that can develop when we do things a little differently.
The meal includes four courses with an emphasis on fermentation, as well as your first two beers from 3 Ravens (additional drinks can be purchased during the meal). There are vegetarian/vegan alternatives for all courses - simply inform the venue of your requirements when you buy your tickets.
The first course will be served at 7pm sharp, with an intro from Caitlin herself. Guests will be seated on share tables with the chance to sit and chat with the brewers from 3 Ravens too.
Tickets cost $65pp, and can be bought via the link below, or call (03) 9384 1122 and ask for Mullins.
