In an effort to keep brewers from around the world connected and, more generally, sane, Yakima Chief Hops are turning their hop harvest into an immersive virtual experience that anyone with a decent internet connection can get on board with.
As such, on most days throughout September you'll be able to enjoy a range of online industry talks and seminars from legends of the beer world – seriously, there's a heap of stuff to check out.
But since we're all about keeping it local these days, following a September 11 session with local brewers and hop industry people you can catch:
September 18 – Hoppy Hour with Balter Brewing
The Yakima Chief crew host Balter Brewing Company’s Scott Hargrave to talk about the Balter story and how it reaches into the hop farms of the Pacific Northwest.
September 30 – Resilience Beer for Australian Wildfires
Just a short pandemic ago, bushfires were the worst thing to be spreading across Australia. In response, the local chapter of the Resilience Beer project kicked off to support those affected and raised plenty of money and awareness.
