Uncle Hops Reopens With A Batch Takeover (NSW)

It's been a while between drinks at Uncle Hops, the craft beer bar found within Newtown's Bank Hotel.

But they're set to reopen in style on October 2 when they invite their mates from down the road, Batch, along to showcase six of their beers.

Among the half dozen is their collab, A Berry Salty Bush brewed at Batch under the Aunty Hops banner by the women of The Bank (pictured above): a red grapefruit, cranberry and salt bush gose.

Also hitting taps are:

  • Tasman Tango South Pacific Ale
  • Helles Lager
  • Juicy Boys DDH NEIPA
  • Small Batch Wardell Nut Brown 2.0
  • Small Batch Single Hop Simcoe IPA

This even kicks off what will be fortnightly brewery showcases at the bar, with Badlands, Moon Dog and Deeds among those lined up for the coming weeks.
