One of the biggest occasions on the calendar for the Byron Bay chapter of Stone & Wood is the launch of their annual Stone Beer. Since its inception in 2014, this has become one of those events which has gotten bigger each year and there's little to suggest 2022 will be any different.
Indeed, they've already coaxed in a music lineup featuring The Delta Riggs, Death by Denim, Drop Legs, South Summit, Club Raiders DJs, Cashew, Spacie and Yasmin.
A fleet of food trucks will be parked up and pumping out enough food to keep you dancing into the night, while all your favourite S&W beers – and no doubt a few seltzers and such – will be pouring. And, of course, the new edition of the Stone Beer will be taking centre stage.
It's also worth remembering that this is a family-friendly festival and even includes Malt Disney – a children’s activity space – which gives everyone a chance to kick back and have some fun.
As in the past, all profits from the festival will make their way to the Fletcher Street Cottage which works with the homeless and rough sleepers in the Byron area.
