South Sydney is fair creaming it when it come to good breweries these days, and for Oktoberfest six of them are getting together for a collective celebration of traditional beers, German-style.
On October 15, Rocks Brewing will host the South Sydney Brewers Oktoberfest which will see Bracket Brewing, One Drop, Slow Lane, Yullis and 2 Halfs Brewing & Distilling setting up in the courtyard to pour their own interpretations of some classic German beers.
You'll be able to enjoy a German-inspired food menu – think pretzels, sauerkraut and schnitzels – while the Sydney's premier Oompah Band, the Oompah Loompah's, will be providing the festive vibes.
It's happening from midday to 6pm and tickets are just $20, which includes your own festival stein.
