You say Bavaria, they say Braeside. You say Oktobefest, they say Boatrock-toberfest!
Oh ja, don your dirndls and lederhosen because the beer, food, and atmosphere of the world's biggest beer festival is coming to Boatrocker.
Starting with a limited-edition Boatrocker stein in hand (either 500ml or one litre), you'll be able to knock down a free fill of their Mönk Munich Helles Lager or Pilsner before settling in to enjoy imported German beers on tap, glüwhein (aka: mulled wine), Oktoberfest beer flights, Underberg digestifs and Schnapps shots.
On the food front there'll be bratwurst with all the trappings, freshly baked GIANT pretzels (both savoury and sweet options) and zwiebelkuchen (traditional caramelised onion, creme fraiche & caraway flatbread).
They'll have games and entertainment - including the obligatory oompah – and a best-dressed competition for dedicated wearers of the aforementioned traditional German garb.
The fun starts at midday and the event is free to attend, but bookings are recommended here.
