Barrel-aged beers take a bit longer that 'regular' beers to get themselves ready for your enjoyment. So you could argue that when they do get released, we should take a bit longer to appreciate all that's gone into creating them.
To mark the unveiling of the new Barrel Aged Pineapple Sour Blonde Ale from the Site Fermentation Project, Hop Nation is hosting a long weekend that celebrates their sour, funky and mixed-ferment beer.
Simply head to their Footscray taproom between November 3-6 and you'll be able to enjoy a taste of these fermented, aged and blended beauties:
- Pineapple Sour Blonde Ale
- MTK | Mango Tamarind Koji
- Barrel Aged IPA Finished on Pear Juice
- Gin Barrel Aged Berliner Weisse Finished on Peaches & Strawberries
- Oud Bruin | Flanders Brown Ale
- Lapin | 2021 Cherry Sour
If you're not into sours but find yourself being dragged along by your acidic mates, fret not as there'll be more than enough regular Hop Nation goodness pouring for your enjoyment.
If you'd like to book a table (always prudent), just head to the Hop Nation website.
