Goodness, would you look at that! It's coming up ten years since Mountain Goat took canned craft beer a big step closer to the mainstream with their Summer Ale, a beer launched ostensibly so their staff had something to drink at the Meredith music festival.
Proving that a timeless combination is hard to beat, the old goats are once again celebrating music and beer with a Cans & Bands session on May 27 at the Northcote Social Club.
You'll be able to enjoy sets from two piece “juice-box punk pop” powerhouse Teenage Joans, four-piece punk rock outfit Bakers Eddy, and garage punk duo Sophisticated Dingo.
Bands kick off at 8:30pm and will play late. Tickets are just $30 (inclusive of booking fee) and you can pick them up here.
