Come celebrate six years of Slipstream as the Yeerongpilly brewers host a fun-filled, family-friendly laneway party.
The event on June 3 will see 24 taps pouring the good stuff, including five new beers, not least the Anniversary Ale and Barrel Aged Anniversary Ale Imperial Stouts you'll be able to try alongside last year's red wine barrel-aged edition.
For the first time, head brewer Gavin Croft will be inviting drinkers in as he leads brewery tours at 2pm and 4pm; tours are free but spaces are limited so you'll need to register here.
They're using the opportunity to launch a new winter menu with dishes including popcorn chicken seasoned with hop salt, revamped burgers, and new pizza combos. They'll also have an outdoor kitchen serving things up street food style – think Texas smoked brisket banh mi, flame grilled pork belly yakitori skewers and more.
What's more, the party will feature face-painting, live music, and a giant games area, all of which means there's something for everyone. The fun starts at midday.
