The premise of this event reads like the hazy memory of a randomly great night out you already had.
"Ok, so, there was a natural wine maker and a brewer, and they'd made some blended thing called 'Hellfire", and there were all these metal bands playing, and there was all this food that had something to do with fire, and, oh, maybe you just had to be there to understand...".
Well, be there you can as natural wine makers Doom Juice and Collingwood brewery The Mill launch a pretty special collaboration; Hellfire is an Extra Pale Ale that's been blended with a natural wine featuring Vermentino and Gewurztraminer.
If it sounds pretty funky, that's where the funk ends because the soundtrack to the evening is all heavy metal, coming at you live, loud and full of furious energy courtesy of "NON" and "Who Bastard" who'll be rocking the stage.
Meanwhile, Dingo Ate My Taco will be serving up a special menu, complete with an array of fire-inspired dishes designed to pair perfectly with the Hellfire Pale Ale.
Doors open at 2pm and entry is free.
