With the arrival of December, you're officially allowed to start getting festive. And what better place, or in better company, would you want to get in the mood than at and with Working Title?
They're gearing up for the season with Scrooged, an indulgent Christmas lunch that will see four appropriately themed beers paired with four appropriately themed courses of food. The emphasis appears to be on decadence, with the menu below suggesting your palate will be covering an awful lot of ground when it comes to the flavour spectrum:
- Hoodlum Honey glazed ham, piccalilli, Loop greens, and Riser bread paired with Hive (apple, cinnamon and ginger sparkling mead)
- Red duck breast, celeriac, macerated cherry, almond and malt crumble paired with Home Alone (fruit mince pie red ale)
- Miso glazed barramundi on apple, cucumber and radish salad with gin and rice wine dressing, black tea dashi, peach, pine oil, paired with The Place Beyond The Pines '23 (toasted native pine Christmas ale)
- Riser Bread icecream, Milo mousse, kiwi fruit and mango syrup with The Night Before (rumball imperial stout)
Given the nature of this beast, there's a maximum capacity of 30 people. Tickets cost $95 which includes everything above, plus an extra welcome drink upon arrival.
