Experience-wise, it's hard to think of a better place to enjoy drinking King River Brewing beer than in the heart of King Valley itself. But given the tyranny of distance that applies to the majority of the population, the crew at Audacious Monk are doing their level best to replicate the experience, with an inner-city bent, as they invite the valley dwellers to their little part of Preston for one night only.
On February 23 they'll be hosting King River Brewing's founder/brewer Nathan Munt for a special meet the brewer session and showcase.
You'll be able to have a chat with the main man while supping on his Euro-centric ales and lagers, including some new releases and much-loved favourites. The beer will be flowing from the taps at the bar, plus they'll have in-store tastings of some of the rest of the range.
Things officially run from 4-7pm, and entry is free.
