In the depths of winter you can always trust Bright to make things even darker, but in a very good way.
Taking place on June 15, the Vic High Country brewery hosts its much-loved – and regularly sold out – annual Darker Days festival which ushers in a weekend full of beer, bands and bonfires.
The focus of the beer is those of the dark variety, and they've roped in some stellar breweries to pour their best, with Bright joined by the multifaceted Hop Nation, the barrel-ageing and blending legends from Dollar Bill, interstate mates from Dangerous Ales, and a special guest from New Zealand, the ever-colourful Duncan's Brewing Co.
The ten hours of live music will be headlined by renowned indie rockers The Delta Riggs, supported throughout the day and evening by Victorian artists Steph Strings, Nicky Bomba, Benny & The Big Wheels, and Matt Sier.

Friday, June 14:
- Guided Brewery Tours & Tastings (12pm & 3pm, ticketed)
- Welcome Party with live music by Since We Kissed (from 6pm, free)
Saturday, June 15:
- Festival Day: 10+ hours of live music (12-10.30pm, ticketed)
- Hot Dawg Eating Competition (4.15pm, free but pre-registration required)
Sunday, June 16:
- Recovery Session with live music at Bright Brewery (starts 12pm, free)
To help you get to and from the festival safely, they'll have special 'After Dark' buses, but these MUST be booked before June 8 and cannot be booked on the night. You'll find more info about that here.

Beer Club Bonus
Fancy getting on down at Darker Days with a free ticket? We've got our hands on a stack to give away to members of our beer club, The Crafty Cabal. There's two ways to get your hands on one:
- If you're already a member, you can sign in to the site or via the free Crafty app and enter the competition before May 22.
