Coffee tasting and beer blending. Now there's a reason to get out of bed on the weekend.
The brewers at Burnley have teamed up with local Richmond coffee roastery Veneziano to create a new coffee infused lager (a schwarzbier, to be accurate) which will be getting its release at the brewery and online on May 31. However, the main event is happening the following morning from 11am to 1pm when the two parties come together for a special, expert hosted, coffee tasting and beer blending session at the taproom.
Upon arrival you'll be given a free glass of the new beer, then it's straight into the coffee sampling which takes you through a number of different blends which you can use to create your own combos and master concoctions. There'll be bottomless batch-brewed coffees, and the kitchen will be dishing up classic dishes and coffee-infused twists for all your brunching needs.
And to keep your caffeine levels nice and high over the weekend, they'll have beer and coffee packs to take home.
