For one wonderful day, Bad Shepherd is going dark. No golden ales or hazy pales, no light and bright sours or sunny vibes. This is winter, and this is their Dark Temptation.
On August 10 the Cheltenham brewery will be turning over 17 of its taps to dark beer, with 10 Aussie indie brewers helping to fill a lineup that covers dark beer in all its many glorious incarnations. Expect to enjoy treats from the sorely missed Deeds, Boatrocker, Stomping Ground, Molly Rose, KAIJU!, Westside Aleworks, Bodriggy, Bojak, and plenty from the host brewery. From barrel aged stouts to dark wild ales to dark lagers, there'll be many somethings for everyone.
There are two four hour general admission sessions to choose from (1-5pm then 6-11pm), plus a VIP option that kicks off at midday and gives you a head start on session one, with added perks (details below).
