It's one of life's delightful little quirks that Oktoberfest starts in September. And if it's good enough for the Germans to go with that logic, it's good enough for Sauce to do so too. And so it will be that the Marrickville brewery's Oktoberfest event will, like the main event in Munich, be an extended celebration.
Step into the brewery on any given day (or night) between September 26-29 and October 3-6 and you'll be able to settle into a spot in the beer garden and tuck into the range of new German style beers the Sauce brewers have had bubbling away in anticipation.
Keeping things traditional, they'll have the legends from the Oktoberfest Hut dishing up their Bavarian treats including their famous bratwurst, sauerkraut and much more besides.
