Job Description: Brewery Production Manager

Dad & Dave’s Brewing is a family-owned and operated craft brewery located in Brookvale. We are passionate about creating approachable and sessionable craft beers. In addition to our own brews, we offer contract manufacturing services for a wide array of beverages, including hard seltzers, sodas, and more.
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Brewery Production Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for craft beverages, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to producing high-quality products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Production Oversight: Manage all aspects of the brewing and blending processes, including brewing, fermentation, conditioning, and packaging.
- Quality Control: Ensure all products meet our high standards of quality and consistency through rigorous testing and monitoring.
- Recipe Development: Collaborate with the team to develop new and innovative beer and beverage recipes.
- Maintenance: Oversee routine maintenance and troubleshooting of brewing and blending equipment.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels of raw materials and finished products.
- Compliance: Ensure all production activities comply with industry regulations and safety standards.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the production team to achieve production goals and maintain a positive work environment.
- Logistics Coordination: Coordinate with suppliers and distributors to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and finished products.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of professional brewing and/or blending experience, with at least 1 year in a managerial role.
- Education: Formal brewing education or relevant certifications preferred.
- Skills: Strong understanding of brewing and blending science and techniques, excellent problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
- Licenses: Valid driver’s license and forklift license required.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 25 kg), stand for extended periods, and work in a physically demanding environment.
- Passion: A genuine passion for craft beverages and a desire to contribute to the growth of our brewery.
