"A bit of a welcome to the neighbourhood" is how the team at Far Side Beers have pitched their decision to showcase the beers of Rocky Ridge this weekend.
Starting on October 4, the Hawthorn East bar will be hosting the beers of the Jindong-founded but now also Brunswick-based brewery.
One of the inevitable highlights will be the appearance of the cult favourite Rock Juice; indeed, this is apparently one the few occasions on which you'll be able to try it beyond the brewery itself. That aside, there's more than enough to whet your lips on a Friday evening, with the tap list as follows:
- Draught (Pilsner)
- Microwave Glowsick (Pastry Sour)
- Naked Wizard (Hazy IPA)
- Man Bear Pig (West Coast IPA)
- Rock Juice (Imperial IPA)
Taps will be locked and loaded from midday and the beers will only be on 'til they're gone.
