Roman numerals tend to make things seem older than they are, though nine years actually is quite old for a small business whose business is to pour beer. And hasn't the Saccharomyces Beer Café poured a lot of beer. So, so, soooo much delicious beer.
Now, to celebrate their near-decade milestone and reflect on a lifespan that's seen them survive floods and pandemics and goodness knows what additional economic turmoil, what they're going to do is pour beer. So, so, soooo much delicious beer. Indeed, they'll even have a very special ninth birthday IXPA, made by the legendary Hoglate Brewhouse, for this very occasion.
The party is happening on November 9, from midday til late. And, yes, there will be cake.
