Back in May, three brewers gathered at the Nomad brewery in Brookvale for a unique collaboration. They were the host's head brewer, Brooks, Leonardo di Vicenzo from Italy's Birra del Borgo and Logan Plant from London's Beavertown.
Each brewer brought a different idea about what they could do to a new brew; Brooks with some native Aussie ingredients, Logan with traditional UK malts and Leo with an enormous Italian grappa barrel. The beer they concocted has been sitting in said barrel for six months and it's now being released as a grappa barrel aged strong ale named Threesome (you can read more about the beer here).
The launch will take place simultaneously on Thursday November 26 across three states, at three venues, with three Nomad beers tapped at each.
