Running parallel to the rise of the retro-packaging styles of canned beer there's something of a nostalgia-fuelled resurgence of interest in arcade games. On October 14 at The Catfish you'll be able to indulge heartily in both as the Dainton Family Breweryofficially launches its new canned beer range as well as hosting a Tekken tournament.
While you're trying to remember all the ten hit combos from the classic 90s fighter game, you'll be able to dip into $2 tinnies (yes, $2...) upstairs between 6pm and 7pm, as well as $4 pots / $7 pints of APA and XSA all day long, plus two limited release kegs.
There'll be prizes throughout the night and, as if you need something more eclectic to top off your evening, a ten piece funk band will be kicking off at about 9pm.
