The word 'innovative' gets thrown around a lot these days but, in the context of Australian craft beer, Bridge Road is one brewery deserving of the descriptor.
For more than ten years the Beechworth brewery has pushed the envelope, whether it be releasing saisons when pretty much no one else was, trialling new hop varieties, sending barrels across the world or installing a foeder at the brewery – all the while being a vociferous advocate for independence and transparency in brewing.
They've done enough to fill a book and if you'd like to hear more about it from the man at the centre of everything, founder Ben Kraus will be at The Wheaty on Wednesday January 18 sharing a few tales and showcasing several of the brewery's fine ales:

Ben will be in the front bar in time for the first keg to be tapped at 6pm.
