Hop harvest is coming and with it some pretty cool ways to celebrate the wonder of those little green flowers, without whom the world would be a very different place indeed.
For the third year running, Bridge Road Brewers is turning Beechworth into a place in which to celebrate the harvest by hosting another High Country Hops festival.
It brings together many of the region's brewers for a family friendly festival in the heart of the historic town but there's more besides.
Brewery founder Ben Kraus is running tastings featuring beers brewed with trial hop varieties – and he's set one of these aside for Crafty Pint supporters who've signed up to our Crafty Cabal beer lovers bonus scheme. Members can register now; newcomers need to sign up first.
Joining Bridge Road on the day will be:
- Bright Brewery
- Black Dog Brewery
- Blizzard Brewing Co
- Sweetwater
- Social Bandit
- Rutherglen Brewery
plus food, music and kids entertainers.
Admission is free and it runs from 11am to 5pm at the rear of Bridge Road Brewers. For more, head here.
