For its monthly showcase on the various interesting parts and people that make up the Australian beer world – an, on occasion, the world far beyond – the February Ale Stars evening at The Local Taphouse in Darlinghurst is shining its spotlight on Tasmanian beers.
Regular hosts Doc, Tom and Liam will be guiding you through a handful of beers from the exciting and rapidly expanding Tassie beer scene, beers which don’t commonly make it across the Bass Strait:
- Double Head Milk Stout
- Ocho NE Pale
- The Winston IPA
- Last Rites Raspberry Ginger Beer
- Hobart Brewing Co IPL
Tickets for the evening cost $40 which includes beer, dinner and entry into the trivia - you can reserve a spot here. Get there by 7pm as proceedings kick off shortly afterwards.
